IDPL 28 Pills


IDPL 28 Pills is a convenient, effective and user-friendly oral contraceptive pill for women. As the  name implies, it is a complete one-cycle pack of IDPL 28 pills for one month’s consumption: comprising 21 Harmone tablets and 7 Iron tablets.

Composition:

Each  white film coated tablet contains:
Levonorgestrel        0.15 mg
Ethinyloestradiol      0.03 mg
Colour                    Titanium Dioxide I.P.

Each brown coloured sugar coated tablet contains:
Ferrous Fumarate I.P.         60 mg (Equivalent to Ferrous Iron: 19.5 mg)
Colour                                Sunset Yellow FCF, Ponceau-4R & Brilliant FCF(IS: 5346)

Doses:
To be taken from the 5th day of menstrual cycle, counting the first day of bleeding as day one. To continue taking one pill a day at a fixed time, preferably after dinner or at bedtime. After the 21 white pills are exhausted, to take the brown pills- one pill a day, for seven days, To start the next pack the very next day.

IDILYTE

IDILYTE is an effective oral rehydration salt (ORS) therapy for all those especially infants and children who have been affected by dehydration due to excessive diarrhea or vomiting.

Composition:

Each 20.5g sachet contains:
Sodium Chloride IP                  2.6g
Potassium Chloride IP              1.5g
Sodium Citrate IP                     2.9g
Dextrose(anhydrous)              13.5g

Each 4.1g sachet contains:
Sodium Chloride IP                  0.52g
Potassium Chloride IP              0.30g
Sodium Citrate IP                     0.58g
Dextrose(anhydrous)                 2.70g

Doses:

Depending upon age and severity of dehydration or as advised by the Registered Medical Practitioner. Continue treatment until diarrhoea stops/ dehydration is corrected.

PROXY

PROXY is a Sugar substitute containing Aspartame. Aspartame is a low-calorie sweetener that is derived from protein components that are found in all protein-containing natural foods.

Aspartame is about 200 times sweeter than sugar, so very small amount of Aspartame is required for the desired sweetness.

Proxy sweetens beverages like tea, coffee, milk and milk products, fruit juice and cold drinks without the calories of sugar. It is the preferred low calorie sweetener for the calorie conscious, those wanting to loose weight and in diabetics. Each Proxy tablet is equivalent to 1 teaspoon of sugar in sweetness.

Each tablet of Proxy gives only 0.36 calories as compared to 16 calories in one tea spoon of sugar.

Proxy contains Aspartame which has been extensively used as a low-calorie sweetener world- wide, has been tested and approved by regulatory authorities like FDA, WHO & the American Diabetic Association

 

MISMIS


MISMIS is an emergency contraceptive pill. It provides a safe, effective and easy way to prevent an unintended pregnancy after unprotected sex or contraceptive failure. However, it is not effective if pregnancy has already occurred. Hence, MISMIS should be taken as soon as possible.

MISMIS is recommended only as a back-up contraceptive and is not a substitute for regular birth control methods.

Composition: Each Pill contains Levonorgestrel IP 0.75 mg.

Dosage: One MISMIS pill should be taken  preferably within the first 12 hours after
unprotected sex but not later than 72 hours (3 days). The second MISMIS pill is to be taken 12 hours after the first tablet intake.

Presentation: Blister pack of  2 pills. 

IDIFIZ

 

IDIFIZ is a digestive enzyme preparation for the relief of dyspepsia, heartburn, acid indigestion, belching, etc. IDIFIZ contains the digestive enzymes fungal diastase and papain, which helps in the digestion of food. It also contains Simethicone, which is an antifoaming agent used for relieving flatulence and gaseous distension.

Composition:
Each effervescent tablet contains:
Papain IP 60mg
Fungal Diastase IP (1 :2000) 20mg
Simethicone IP 25mg

Dosage:
1- 2 Tablets is to be taken in a half glass of water(approx 130mI) as and when required.


IDIFIZ

IDISURG, a Surgical Division in IDPL, was created to start marketing of quality surgical consumable / disposable items to meet its persistent demand in the country. IDPL took a lead in supplying about 25 common surgical consumable items to Jan Aushadhi as well as to Govt. Institutions and Hospitals. The Jan Aushadhi prices of these items are far lower (being about 25% to 60%) than the prevailing market prices of these products. The common surgical consumable products initially being supplied are Cannula, I.V. Set, Measured Volume Set, Blood Transfusion Set, Foley’s Balloon Cathetor, Urine Collecting Bag, Thermometer, Infant Feeding Tube, Ryles Tube, Mucus Extractor, Umbilical Extractor, Umbilical Cord Clamp, Paper Tape, Cotton, Surgical Gauge, Bandage, Cotton Crepe Bandage, Surgical Gloves and Disposable Syringes.
